Maharashtra: DMER Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2018 Provisional Merit list has been released on the official website of Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER Maharashtra) – dmer.org


DMER Maharashtra had begun the NEET UG Counselling 2018 process in the state last week, and candidates who had successfully registered for the same can download the Provisional Merit List.


The notice regarding the counselling is given below along with the official website of the DMER Maharashtra.


NEET-UG 2018 - ADMISSION PROCESS


This Notice is being issued in regard to the process of selection and admissions to be granted to the 1st year of undergraduate Health Science Courses for the Academic Year 2018-2019, in pursuant to the Common Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2018) conducted by Govt. of India on 06.05.2018. The procedure set out hereunder will apply to selection of Candidates to be admitted at the following Institutions: -


(A) All State Government Colleges;


(B) All Municipal Corporation Colleges;


(C) All State Government aided Colleges;

(D) As per Maharashtra Unaided Private (including Minority) Institution Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, all Health Sciences courses i.e. MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, BSc. Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, BP&O and BASLP, at all Unaided Private Professional Institutions in the State of Maharashtra.

The "Information Brochure" is available on website of www.mahacet.org and www.dmer.org. This Information Brochure contains the information required by Candidates during Document Verification Process and for the purpose of seeking admission. It includes General Instructions to the Candidates for filing online preference form, method of scrutiny of documents and method of selection and admission. The Candidate should attend the Document Verification Process as per the schedule set out hereunder at the Regional Centers.


Candidates should download the Information Brochure from web site www.mahacet.org and www.dmer.org. Copy of Information Brochure will not be provided to Candidate at the time of Document Verification Process.


Candidates should carefully go through the entire Information Brochure and follow the Instructions for further process of selection and admission. Kindly note that non­compliance with any of the provisions set out in the Information Brochure will result in rejection of claim for admission.


On the scheduled date and at the scheduled sessions, the Candidates in accordance with their NEET All India Rank as mentioned in the mark sheet of NEET­UG 2018 are required to attend the document verification in person, at the respective Regional Centers given below. The candidates should attend at the respective selected centre (Only one) as marked in the application form.

The Candidate must report to the respective Regional Centre personally (proxy will not be permitted), at the specified time and date set out in above Table, along with all the relevant original documents and One set of photocopies as mentioned in the Information Brochure NEET-UG 2018. It is made hereby clear that if the relevant


documents are not produced by the Candidates at the time of Counseling, claim will not be granted. Only one Parent/Guardian will be allowed along with the Candidate.


The Candidates are also called upon to keep regular track of Notice(s) that may be issued from time to time by the undersigned in this regard, which will also be made available from time to time on the website www.mahacet.org & www.dmer.org.


Note I: During this Document Verification Process request for conversion from Open to Reserve Category, claim of Specified Reservation, etc will not be considered.


Note II: Candidate can fill the online preference form on his/her log-in, available on the website. The portal for each Candidate will open from 26/06/2018. It will be closed on 29/06/2018 at 5 pm.


Note III: The first selection list will be declared on 04/07/2018 after 8.00pm. Candidate should report to the Respective Institution from 05/07/2018 to 12/07/2018 upto 5.00pm.


Note IV : All the Candidates who have marked as NRI, should report for document verification at Physiology Department, Grant Medical College, J.J.Hospital, Byculla , Mumbai — 400 008 as per the following table.

Note V : Candidates attending for document verification but not submitting online preference form, will not be considered for admission to any Health Science Course till the end of this admission process.


Note VI : Candidates whose names are appearing in the provisional merit list and do not attend document verification process as per schedule, will not be considered for this admission process.


Note VII : NRI candidate should Physiology Department, Grant Medical College, J.J.Hospital, Byculla , Mumbai — 400 008 for General and NRI related document verification.
