Maha CET Cell issues notice on Cancellation of admission in BAMS, BUMS, BHMS courses

Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (Maha CET Cell) has released the notification on Cancellation of admission in BAMS, BUMS, BHMS courses 2019.

The concerned candidates who intend to cancel their BAMS, BUMS, BHMS admissions, can view the details of the said notification as uploaded on the official website of Maha CET Cell mentioned below:

The notice clearly states, "In view of various applications received from Institutes and candidates regarding cancellation of Admission taken in BAMS/BUMS/BHMS Courses. It is hereby Notified that ONLY those candidates who are selected to BPTH/BOTH/BASLP/B(P&O) and B.Sc. Nursing Courses in Round No. 3 published on 03/10/2019 by State CET Cell on its website and wish to cancel their admission in BAMS/BUMS/BHMS Courses so as to join the allotted college of round No.3 in BPTH/BOTH/BASLP/B (P&O) and B.Sc. Nursing Courses can do so by giving an affidavit Stating that 'He/She is not interested in pursuing BAMS/BUMS/BHMS Courses and He/She is aware that he/she will not be able to participate in any Further rounds including Institutional Level round for these Courses."

Cancellation on producing this affidavit is allowed till 08/10/2019, 05:00 pm. only. Candidates cancelling their admission for above reason should note that their name will appear in NOT ELIGIBLE list to be published on 09/10/2019 for Institutional Level Round of BAMS/BUMS/BHMS Courses.

Colleges to act accordingly and inform the State CET Cell regarding such candidates through email with scanned copy of the affidavit.

Tentative Schedule for Stray Vacancy Round for Government/Government Aided and Private Unaided BAMS/BHMS/BUMS Colleges

1	The eligible desirous candidate to apply in person to respective college in prescribed format available on www.mahacet.org website	10/10/2019 to 11/10/2019 upto 05:00 pm
2.	Publication of Merit list, Selection List and Wait List on notice board and the web site of respective Colleges	11/10/2019 after 06:00 pm
3.	Joining of selected candidates as per 1st Selection List dated 11/10/2019 with Original Documents and Requisite Fees.	12/10/2019 to 13/10/2019 upto 04:00 pm
4.	Publication of list of joined candidates and vacancy after 1st Selection List	13/10/2019 at 05:00 pm
5.	Publication of 2nd selection list from the waitlisted candidates on notice board and web site of respective Colleges	13/10/2019 at 06:00 pm
6.	Joining of selected candidates as per 2nd Selection List dated 13/10/2019 with original documents and requisite fees.	14/10/2019 to 15/10/2019 upto 03:00 pm
7.	Filling of Residual Vacancy from merit list of college published on 11/10/2019	15/10/2019 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm
8.	Cut off date for admission to BAMS/ BHMS/BUMS Courses	15/10/2019

Candidates ELIGIBLE for Extended MoP UP Round – II (only for Government/Government Aided)

1. Candidates having JOINED Status but NOT filled RETENTION FORM.

2. Candidates who were never allotted a seat through CAP rounds and MoP UP round – I and II fulfilling the Eligibility criteria.

Candidates NOT ELIGIBLE for Extended MoP UP Round – II (only for Government/Government Aided)

1. Candidates NOT JOINED/CANCELLED seat allotted in CAP rounds and MoP UP round – I and II


2. Candidates JOINED and filled STATUS RETENTION FORM.


3. Candidates CANCELLED the admission up to 03/10/2019.

Candidates NOT ELIGIBLE for Stray Vacancy Round

1. Candidates having JOINED Status as on 09/10/2019.
