Karnataka: Naringana to host Yenepoya AYUSH colleges

Mangaluru: The Foundation stone for the construction of Yenepoya Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital & Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital was laid on the new campus at Naringana village recently.


Yenepoya Homoeopathy Treatment Centre and Ayurveda Health Care Centre have been established by the Yenepoya University as holistic health care under Ayush at various places of Mangaluru, since 2015-16. The outpatient and in-patient care facilities provide Homoeopathic and Ayurvedic treatment under expert care.


The university plans to establish Homoeopathic and Ayurvedic Medical Colleges and Hospitals at its new campus on a sprawling 35 acres campus at Naringana from 2018-19. A 25-bed homoeopathic hospital and 100 -bedded Ayurvedic Hospital will also be constructed.

The campus will have a garden of medicinal plants of Ayurveda,as well as, Homoeopathy. It will be further expanded with the establishment of research center, recreation center, hostels, staff quarters and sports complex, reports Deccan Herald.
