KAP Viswanatham Government Medical College inspected by MCI for PG courses

Trichy: An inspection was conducted at KAP Viswanatham Government Medical College (KAPVGMC) attached to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital ( MGMGH) by a team of Medical Council of India doctors to check facilities before giving it approval for post graduate courses in MD-Microbiology, MS- Ophthalmology, MD-pathology, and MS Anatomy,

The team checked all the four departments. The college has applied for 4 seats in each of the above courses and has also sought recognition for including the four new courses in college.

On the basis of the team’s report, the Council will decide on whether to grant them its approval, reports TOI.
