Haryana: spot admissions of left over, vacant seats in BAMS, BHMS courses

Chandigarh: Haryana Medical Education and Research Department has announced to conduct the spot admissions to leftover or vacant seats in BAMS or BHMS courses in Government or Private Institutes.


While giving this information on Sunday, the official spokesperson said the admission would be given in several colleges including those under SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram and Baba Mastnath University, Asthal Bohar, Rohtak on November 20, 2017 at Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences in Rohtak.


He said that first preference would be given to the candidates from merit list of CET-2017 conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and in case there were some vacant seats, NEET-2017 candidates would be considered for admission against such vacant seats.


He said that all such eligible candidates were requested to report for counseling at 11 am on November 20, 2017, along with their original documents and Tuition Fee.


However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and were eligible under Post Matric Scholarship (whose parents annual income from all sources is less than Rs 2.50 lakh) might pay their tuition fee after receipt of their Post Matric Scholarship. They might not be insisted upon payment of Tuition fee on the spot.


Failure to appear without documents or tuition fee the seat would be offered to next candidate as the merit list, he added.
