Demand for Medical college at Kargil
Jammu: Days after Jammu and Kashmir Government sanctioned university for Leh, Chairman Legislative Council Haji Inayat Ali on Wednesday met the Governor Satya Pal Malik here at the Raj Bhawan and sought Central University, Cluster University and Medical College for the Kargil and Divisional Status for Ladakh.
A delegation of representatives of various student organisations of Kargil and its adjoining areas, led by Mr Ali, met the Governor and requested him for establishing a cluster University, a Medical College and a Central University at Kargil and making Ladakh a separate administrative Division.
