Delhi University Invites Application for Homeopathy MD Course 2016

The University of Delhi (DU) has released an admission notification inviting applications for its Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme in homeopathy, offered at the faculty of homeopathic medicines, for the academic session 2016-19.



Eligibility criteria


Educational qualification:


The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have passed the degree of BHMS from the University of Delhi or from any other university established by law and recognised by Central Council of Homeopathic included in the second schedule to the act, after undergoing a course of study of not less than five years and six months duration including one year compulsory internship which must be completed by July 31. They should also have obtained permanent registration from the Board of Homeopathic System of Medicine.


Or


Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (graded degree) or equivalent qualification in homeopathy included in the second schedule to the act, after undergoing a course of study of not less than two years duration.



Selection procedure:


The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Post-Graduate Degree Courses in Homoeopathic Medicine (PGMET-H 2016) conducted by the university.



Application Procedure:


The candidates are required to obtain the application form along with information bulletin from the office of the Joint Registrar, Faculty of homeopathic Medicine, 6th floor, VP Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. The application form is also available at the official website.



Important dates:



  • Last date for the submission of an application form is November 4.

  • DU PGMET-H will be conducted on November 13.

  • Results: will be declared in the third week of November.
