BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS Admissions 2019: AYUSH Ministry extends last date for admission

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Ministry of AYUSH has informed about the extension of the cutoff date for admission in the BAMS, BUMS, BHMS and BSMS courses 2019 academic session.

The decision to extend the cutoff date was taken in view of several representations that the ministry received from various State Government and Counselling authorities informing that seats are lying vacant and more rounds of counselling are required to fill up the vacant seats in Ayurveda, Siddha Unani and homeopathy courses; and therefore requested for extension of cutoff date for admission in these courses.

The notice signed by Under Secretary to GOI, Shiela Tirkey clearly states:
...the Ministry has received representations from various State Government and Counseling authorities stating that seats are lying vacant and more rounds of counseling are required to fill up the vacant seats in ASU & H UG courses; and therefore requested for extension of cutoff date for admission in the Under Graduate Courses.

In this regard, the matter has been examined by the Ministry and decided that the last date/ cut-off date for admission in BAMS, BUMS, BHMS and BSMS courses will be 15'h October.

The notice further added
Further, in continuation to Ministry’s letter dated 06.2019 and National Testing Agency Public notice dated 13.06.2019, wherein, the cut-off date for eligibility to appear in AIAPGET 2019 was extended up to 31st October, 2019 and Ministry’s letter dated 13.09.2019, wherein, revised Counseling schedule for admission in ASU&H PG courses was communicated to all State Govt. authorities, it is further clarified that last date/ cut-off date for admission in ASU&H Post Graduation Courses will be 31st October 2019,
