Ayush Ministry releases Guidelines for Post Graduate Admissions
New Delhi: Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homoeopathy (AYUSH) has notified the Guidelines to be followed in admissions to Post Graduate degree in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani & Homoeopathy Colleges for 2018-19. The notice clarified that:
- Only those students who have qualified in the AIPGET, 2018 can participate in the counselling for admission in AYUSH PG Courses for the academic year 2018-19.
- Minimum qualifying marks for AIPGET 2018 will be as specified in existing Post Graduate Regulation (ASU) as given below:-
" The minimum eligibility marks of the entrance test for admission in the case of general candidates shall be fifty per cent. of the total marks, in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and regular Central or State Government service candidate shall be forty per cent. and in the case of candidates belonging to the Other Backward classes shall be forty-five per cent".
3. The cut-off date for completion of the internship will be 31st October 2018 which is a requirement for admission in PG Courses of the academic year 2018-19.
4. Last date/cut - off date of admission for all PG and UG Courses in AYUSH College will be 31st October 2018.
