AIIMS Jodhpur allotted 46 PG seats for 20 new Departments

Jodhpur: 20 departments of new AIIMS Jodhpur have been sanctioned 46 post graduate seats. These are highest in number among all the new AIIMS and are likely to bring about tremendous improvement in patient care. Dean, Kuldeep Singh,is of the view that all these seats will be filled in the upcoming academic session and would help in research work .


These seats are in addition to existing 10 PG seats in 4 non-clinical departments. A minimum of 2 seats have been sanctioned in each of the 20 departments. Alongside these, 7 seats have been distributed in the super-specialty departments of neurosurgery, paediatric surgery and infectious diseases.


AIIMS Jodhpur is growing at the fastest pace, when compared to the 6 other AIIMS set up during the UPA government. The Jodhpur AIIMS has already set a mark in the history of the nation by carrying out certain complex and rare surgeries, reports TOI.
