5080 MBBS seats, 2610 BDS seats: MUHS releases list of Affiliated medical colleges for 2018-19

Maharashtra: The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences has recently released List of affiliated Colleges (excluding deemed Univ.) whom Continuation/Extension of Affiliation is granted for the Academic Year 2018-19

These approved medical colleges in the state that offer various medical courses including MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BUMS.

The notice also highlights the list of AYUSH colleges that have been denied permission for the current year

The Continuation / Extension of Affiliation granted by the University is based on the Inspection of the Colleges / Institutes and the resolution of the Academic Council only. The permission of the Govt. of India and/ or concerned Central Council is to be verified before admitting students in the concerned Colleges/ Institutes and the University shall not be liable/responsible in case of admissions done without due permission of the Govt. of India and/ or concerned Central Council and the eligibility and the registration shall not be granted in any case to the candidates admitted without such permissions of appropriate authorities and/or without following appropriate procedure prescribed by the Govt. of India / State Govt.

The University had instructed to the Dean / Principal of the College to submit the letter of permission from Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi and Department of AYUSH, New Delhi to the Admission Regulating Authority, Mumbai.
