Al Arif Unani Medical College denied permission for BUMS course; Counselling of students for Relocation tomorrow
Telangana: The Al Arif Unani Medical College has been derecognised by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) and the No Objection Certificate (essentiality certificate) of the institute has been withdrawn on directions from the Ministry of AYUSH after gross deficiencies were found at the institute in terms of faculty and infrastructure.
Consequently, the students attached with the now-defunct institute are going to be transferred to another college and the counselling for the concerned students will be held tomorrow; i.e. 13th July 2019.
The confirmation to this effect gives the notification uploaded on the official website of KNRUHS which clearly states that Government of Telangana has issued orders withdrawing the No Objection Certificate (essentiality certificate) granted to Al Azizia Educational and Welfare Society, Hyderabad for establishment of Al Arif Unani Medical College, Hyderabad in accordance with orders from Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India and ordered for transfer of students of the said college to Government Nizamia Tibbi College. Accordingly, KNRUHS has issued orders for derecognition and disaffiliation of Al Arif Unani Medical College, Hyderabad.
The notice further states, "Accordingly, KNRUHS has issued orders for derecognition and disaffiliation of Al Arif Unani Medical College, Hyderabad."
All the candidates are hereby informed that they will be relocated to Government Nizamia Tibbi College, Hyderabad. The candidates are further informed that they have to pay tuition fee & college fee as per the category under which they were admitted i.e., category A, B, C respectively.
The candidates who were admitted into BUMS course at Al Arif Unani Medical College for Academic years 2014-15, 2015-16 under Dr.NTRUHS and for academic years 2016-17& 2017-18 under KNRUHS and who are presently studying BUMS course at Al-Arif Unani Medical College, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad are hereby informed to attend the first and final counseling along with parent with allotment order, identity card, fee receipts, marks memos, undertaking on Rs.100 stamp paper etc. for relocation to Government Nizamia Tibbi College as per the orders of the Government of Telangana.
