AIPGMET-II 2016 Exam Dates released

Dr. D.Y. Patil University (DPU), Pune conducting exam for PG courses of Doctor of Medicine (MD) offered in Anatomy, Microbiology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology and Preventive & Social Medicine has releases its exam dates for All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (AIPGMET II-2016).

The exam is scheduled for Sunday, April 17 2016.

The exam related details are give below:

Eligibility criteria:

• The candidate who has passed the final MBBS examination from a recognised medical college, included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, is eligible.

• The candidate who has obtained registration either from the MCI or from the authorized State Medical Council after completing a one-year compulsory rotating internship.

• The candidate, who is still undergoing one-year compulsory rotating internship and is likely to complete it by March 31 2016, will be permitted to appear for the AIPGMET-II - 2016. Their selection will be subject to completion of compulsory rotating internship of one year and registration before 15 April 2016. They will have to submit documentary evidence from the Principal/Dean of the College regarding the anticipated date of completion of internship along with the application, failing which their application shall be rejected.

Selection procedure:

Candidates should obtain 50 percent or more marks at AIPGMET-II - 2016 to qualify for admission.

Application Procedure:

The interested, eligible candidates must apply in the prescribed format in their own handwriting.

The candidates should send their application form along with the required documents by registered post or through courier or hand it over in person at the office of 'Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Sant Tukaram Nagar, Pimpri, Pune 411 018'.

Application fee:

The candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 2,000/- (for late submission is Rs. 2,500/-) for AIPGMET-II - 2016. The payment should be made at the time of submission of application form in the form of a DD drawn on a national bank in favour of 'The Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune', payable at Pune.

Last date for submission of application form with late fees: April 16, 2016

Admit card:

The admit card will be made available on the university website, the link for which is http://dpu.edu.in/, five days before the entrance test.
