AIIMS results: Kota coaching institute does a Super 10

Kota: Besides being the top 10 rank holders in the AIIMS online MBBS entrance test, another thing common among Nitshita Purohit, Archit Gupta and eight others is that they trained in the same coaching institute here.

Purohit (28), from Gujarats Surat district, topped the exam results declared. Archit Gupta secured the second rank. Both toiled in the classroom sessions of the Allen Career Institute, its director Rajesh Meshawari claimed.

"Three among the top 10 rank holders had subscribed to our distance learning programme," he said.

The institute has been repeating the feat year after year. Last year, eight students of the institute had featured in the top 10.

Also, it had last year produced top three NEET rank holders.

A national basketball player and an NCC candidate, Purohit wants to be a cardiac surgeon at AIIMS.
