AIIMS PG 2019: Date Of Basic Registration rescheduled

New Delhi: Through a recent notice All India Institute Of Medical Sciences New Delhi informed about the Revised Date Of Basic Registration for AIIMS PG July 2019 Session. The notice added that due to unavoidable circumstances, the dates had to be rescheduled. The notice aloing with full details of the original website of AIIMS New Delhi is given:

Due to unavoidable circumstance, the Basic Registration process for MD/MS/MDS July 2019 session onwards has been rescheduled:

Basic Registration for MD/MS/MDS July 2019 session and onwards	06.10.2018 (Saturday)	18.10.2018 (Thursday)

The notice added that those who have already completed their basic registration for January 2019 need not worry

Those candidates who have completed Basic Registration for the January 2019 session, and their status of Basic Registration has been accepted, they do not require to fill Basic Registration again. They are eligible to fill the Final Registration of July 2019 session and subsequent session.

"All candidates are requested to note the revised date(s). Inconvenience caused is regretted." the notice added.

From this year AIIMS has introduced a new Registration system for the purpose of registration of students for its medical courses. This new facility- Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) facility is being initiated for the Postgraduate Medical & Dental Entrance Examinations for the January 2019 session onwards and will be extended shortly to the MBBS Entrance Examination and other examinations subsequently.

Registrations will be a two-stage process comprising of a Basic Registration and Final Registration stages.

This came after it was found that a majority of rejections are due to improper filling of details other than educational qualifications. In the first stage applicants desirous of appearing in any of the Entrance Examinations (eg MD/MS or MDS or MBBS) in future will be able to initially register by filling basic details and uploading images almost a year in advance (Basic Registration). These particulars and images will be screened there would be adequate time to correct errors and deficiencies.
