    New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has begun the final registration process for AIIMS PG 2020 for admission to MD, MS, MDS, DM and MCh courses. Candidates, who are vying for admission to AIIMS PG medical courses, can view the schedule, eligibility criteria, application process, fee and exam pattern details here.

    The final registration has begun from 27.09.2019 (Friday) and the window will close on 11.10.2019 (up to 05:00 pm) so candidates are requested to register themselves till then.

    Who can apply?


    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    a) A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 30th January, 2020 [As per DCI endorsement No.DE-130-2011/B-4978, dated 13.12.2011, candidature will be as per DCI Revised BDS Course (4th Amendment) Regulation-2011 published in Gazettee notification (Extraordinary) Part-III, Section-4, dated 9.12.2011]. Candidates who complete their internship after 30th January, 2020 are not eligible for Registration in this examination.

    b) In case it is found that a candidate who does not fulfill the eligibility qualification / criteria (such as Internship Completion dates etc.) has provided false information solely for appearing in the examination for practice purpose, the candidate shall be debarred from appearing in AIIMS Entrance Examination in future. Selected candidate will be verified against previously available data for further action as above.

    c) Minimum Marks in MBBS/ BDS or equivalent Examinations The candidate must have obtained a minimum of the following marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations

    (i) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate
    (ii) For all other categories including OBC Category 55% marks in aggregate
    (iii) For Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (i) and (ii) for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply
    (iv) Sponsored Candidates . The eligibility of Sponsored Candidates with respect to the minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be the same as for candidates as mentionedfrom (i) to (iii) above
    (v) Foreign National candidates Please obtain the certificate of grading system from your University / Institution to determine the value of grading in percentage to be produced. After getting the certificate, calculate total and obtained marks from the certificate then fill "Marks Column" and complete Final Registration before due date.
    (vi) Graduated from Foreign Universities Indian National candidates who have been graduated from foreign Universities must fill their MCI screening exam % in the online form. Candidate must have obtained 55% for UR/OBC, 50% for SC/ST categories, in FMGE exam conducted by NBE, Govt. of India, Delhi

    What is the application process?


    APPLICATION FEE

    General / OBC Category: Rs.1500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable SC/ST/EWS Category: Rs.1200/- +Transaction Charges as applicable Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities [PWBD] Candidates is exempted from payment of any Fee MODE OF PAYMENT: Through Debit /Credit Card/Net Banking All applicants are advised to read the Prospectus and Help Manual carefully before starting online registration and ensure that no column is left blank. In the event of rejection of the application form, no correspondence/request for reconsideration will be entertained. Applicants are also advised to download and take a print of the Final Registration Slip. They should retain a copy of Registration Slip till the completion of Admission Process. Please visit www.aiimsexams.org regularly for latest notification / announcement as well as any Addendum/ Corrigendum/Latest updates etc. regarding the Examination

    1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

    Candidate should fill in the online Application Form taking utmost care and following instructions and help manual as given in the APPENDIX - IV of the Prospectus, step by step. Candidate should fill in the Online Application form correctly. Incorrect filled form may result in rejection.

    2. ONLINE REGISTRATION & SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM


    A candidate seeking admission to the Entrance Examination is required to submit his/her application in the prescribed format available online with the Prospectus on www.aiimsexams.org The cost of Application Form includes the fee for entrance examination which is non-refundable and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. The candidate is required to go through the prospectus carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to filling in of the online application form.

    Online Registration: After selecting the online registration, fill the mandatory details asked for deposit the prescribed fee in the through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking after submitting fees filled required information step by step. Follow the Instructions scrupulously. It will be the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that correct details are filled in the Application Form. The Institute will not be responsible for any cancellation of candidature/loss or lack of communication etc. as a consequence of incorrectly filled application form

    No candidate should register more than one application. All applicants are required to ensure that Photo/Signature/Left Thumb Impression is uploaded according to the instructions provided in the Prospectus. Failure to do so may result in rejection of applications.

    Duplicate applications from any applicant will result in cancellation of all such applications. No intimations regarding such summary rejections will be provided.

    3. STATUS OF ONLINE REGISTRATION

    Acknowledgement of successful Online Registration will be forwarded to applicant‟s Registered on their email ID. The Registration Form will remain Under Review regarding eligibility. However, candidates can check their status of uploaded images within 3-5 working days from the date of online Registration is done and subsequent further updates the status as per the direction. The rejected images can be updated till the registration is open. The candidates are advised to check final status of their Registration Form regarding images and eligibility and Admit Card which will be available on AIIMS website www.aiimsexams.org as per the schedule mentioned in the “IMPORTANT DATES AT A GALANCE”.

    Admit cart for accepted Registration Form will only be uploaded on the website. If the status of Registration Form or Admit Card is not available on website, he/she should immediately write an email to the Assistant Controller of Examinations, AIIMS, New Delhi-110608 on aiims.pgexams@gmail.com along with name, candidate ID, subject applied and other particulars of the Registration form. (please see “Procedure for query by email” at page-.22)

    4. DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH REGISTRATION SLIP

    I) No document (copies of certificate, mark sheets etc.) is required to be attached with the downloaded Registration Slip except the following applicable to Sponsored Candidates and Foreign nationals:

    1) Sponsorship Certificate (in the case of sponsored candidate) in the format prescribed in the Prospectus, duly completed and signed by the competent authority.

    2) If the Subject/Discipline under Sponsorship category is available in more than one AIIMS and the candidate is Sponsored for more than one Institution, the candidate can apply the Subject/Discipline for more than one AIIMS. However, a separate Original Sponsorship Certificate given in the Proforma will be submitted by the candidate for each AIIMS otherwise the candidature of the candidate for which candidate did not submit original Sponsorship certificate will not be considered and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

    3) NOC from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in case of Foreign National,

    Note: Sponsored/Foreign national category candidates should send the above documents in a separate envelope to the Asstt. Controller of Examinations, Examination Section, AIIMS, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110 608 by 25.10.2019 indicating their Registration No. on the top of the envelope and on the documents followed by the name of course/discipline applied for.

    II) The candidates recommended for Counseling on the basis of results of the Entrance Examination/Written Test must submit attested copies of the following documents in the manner prescribed below at the time of counseling: Candidates for MD/MS/MDS courses:

    The candidates appearing for allotment by personal appearance should bring the following documents in original along with an attested copy of the documents: -

    i) Offer Letter

    ii) Registration Slip

    iii) Admit Card issued by AIIMS.

    iv) Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd Professional Examinations.

    v) MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate.

    vi) Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the

    vii) candidate will be completing the internship by 30th January 2020.

    viii) Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council.

    ix) High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate in proof of date of birth. (Matriculation)

    x) The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable:

    a) SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority and should be in English or Hindi in language. Community should be clearly mentioned in thecertificate.

    b) OBC Certificate issued by the competent authority for central Govt. jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub‐caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus.

    c) Physical Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus. Candidates must note that a certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible in the certificate. If a candidate fails to submit attested copies of the requisite documents as above, his/her candidature will be cancelled, and he/she will not be allowed to participate in subsequent stages of selection/admission process.
