    AIIMS PG 2019: There is GOING TO BE NEGATIVE MARKING in exam, clarifies AIIMS

    AIIMS PG 2019: There is GOING TO BE NEGATIVE MARKING in exam, clarifies AIIMS

    New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences recently issued a Corrigendum Notice Regarding Instructions for AIIMS PG Admit Card. The corrigendum clarified that there is going to be negative marking in the exam stating that there is negative marking and for each Incorrect Answer ONE-THIRD (-1/3) mark will be deducted. Earlier the notification incorrectly instructed that there is going to be no negative marking in the exam.


    The AIIMS PG Entrance Examination for admission in Postgraduate [MD/MS/M.Ch.(6 years)/DM (6 years)/MDS] courses - January 2019 session will be held on November 18, 2018.

    There is an inadvertent error in page 3 (point no. H.9) of Instructions for admit card for AIIMS PG Entrance Examination for admission in Postgraduate [MD/MS/M.Ch.(6 years)/DM (6 years)/MDS] courses - January 2019 session. The details of correction are as follows:

    EARLIER INSTRUCTIONREVISED INSTRUCTION
    There is no negative markingThere is negative marking and for each Incorrect Answer ONE-THIRD (-1/3) mark will be deducted

    The correct instruction regarding marking is already mentioned in the Prospectus and Admit card. The updated and correct instruction for Admit card can be downloaded from link active while downloading the admit card at www.aiimsexams.org. Inconvenience caused is regretted. All applicants are required to visit the website regularly since all subsequent Corrigendum/Addendum/Updates will only be uploaded on the website.
