    AIIMS PG 2019: Open Counselling to be held on 22nd August

    AIIMS PG 2019: Open Counselling to be held on 22nd August

    New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has recently released a notification informing about the commencement of AIIMS PG 2019 open counselling for vacant PG medical seats.


    The notification clearly states, "Open Counseling for filling up vacant Postgraduate Seats for July 2019 session (after 3rd Round of Online Counseling) will be held on 22.08.2019 (Thursday) at 8:30 AM in the Jawaharlal Auditorium, AIIMS, New Delhi. The details of tentative vacant seats after allotment in 1st/2nd/3rd round of Seat Allocation / Counselling for July 2019 session seats as of now are available on the website."

    All allotted seat/s in 1st/2nd/3rd round of Seat Allocation / Counselling for July 2019 session falling vacant by way of surrender/resignation henceforth till 1:00 P.M. on 17.08.2019 will be added to these seats and will be available for Open Counseling, the notice adds.


    This position of vacant seats will be displayed on AIIMS website by 5:00 PM on 21.08.2019.


    Any resignation request received after 17.08.2019 along with the penalty amount by way of demand draft will be deemed as resignation and the seat thus vacated will be included in Open Counseling. Hence the number of seats may change on the day of counselling.


    Candidates who are interested in attending Open Counseling on the scheduled date will be required to register themselves online for Open Counseling on the AIIMS website i.e. www.aiimsexam.org. The Online Registration will open on 14.08.2019 (Wednesday) at 11:00 am & close on 17.08.2019 (Saturday) at 5:00 PM. On the day of counseling, such candidates will have to produce printout of the slip issued to them at the time of Online Registration for Open Counseling along with all original certificates of qualification.


    Note: Candidates will not be able to attend Open Counseling without the production of printout of Registration Slip issued for Open Counseling at the time of Online Registration.
