AIIMS PG 2019: 60 seats added to MD, MS, DM, MCh, MDS Courses for July session
New Delhi: Due to the decision of AIIMS authorities to defer implementation of the unreserved EWS vacancies, a total of 60 seats have been added for various specialities in PG medical courses to the present seat position at 5 branches of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS).
While at two AIIMS branches' seat position remains the same, many seats have been added to others in various specialities. These additional seats are hereby available for PG medical candidates belonging to general category.
As per the recent notice uploaded on the official website of AIIMS, the Final Seat Position for PG medical and dental courses (MD, MS, DM, MCh and MDS) at its various branches for July 2019 academic session entails the following:
13 PG medical seats have been added to AIIMS New Delhi taking its total from 123 to 136. The seats have been added to various specialities including Biophysics, Community Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Obst. & Gynae, Pathology, Pharmacology,
AIIMS Bhopal has got the addition of 8 MD/MS seats in the specialities including Anaesthesiology, ENT, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obst & Gynae, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, PMR, and Radiodiagnosis. At the institute, 12 seats had been added however four were reduced from Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank taking the total to 8 in the aforementioned specialities.
A total of 4 seats have been added to AIIMS Bhubaneswar including Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Radiodiagnosis speciality.
AIIMS Patna has got 18 additional seats in Anaesthesiology, Anatomy, ENT, Medicine, Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, PMR, Psychiatry, Radiotherapy and Surgery.
AIIMS Raipur's seat position has had the addition of 17 PG medical seats in specialities including Anesthesiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine & Family Medicine, Dermatology & Venerology, ENT, General Medicine, Microbiology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Pathology & Laboratory Medicine
Students are also requested to view the Final seat position for MD/MS/DM(6yrs)/M.Ch.(6yrs) and MDS for July 2019 session attached below.
