AIIMS PG 2019: 282 Vacant Seats for MD, MS, MCh, DM, MDS courses

New Delhi: Candidates who have applied for PG medical courses at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have a total of 282 vacant seats up for grabs for Round 2 Counselling at the institute's various branches.

The information to this effect recently came via a notice uploaded on the official website of AIIMS New Delhi clearly mentioning the number of PG medical seats vacant category wise at the institute’s branches across the country for MD/MS/MCh(6 years)/DM(6 years)/MDS Courses July 2019 Session.

Below are the number of seats available for Round 2 AIIMS PG 2019 Counselling at various AIIMS branches:

• AIIMS New Delhi=57


• AIIMS Bhopal=52


• AIIMS Bhubhaneshwar=34


• AIIMS Jodhpur=36


• AIIMS Patna=37


• AIIMS Raipur=39


• AIIMS Rishikesh=27

POLICIES REGARDING ELIGIBILITY FOR 2nd ROUND Counselling

The candidates who are allocated seats in the 1st round and have chosen the option 2 and 4 (mentioned above) and have fulfilled the requirements are eligible for the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation/PG Counselling.

All the candidates who had participated in the 1 st round and were not allocated any seat will automatically be eligible for the next round. Those who have secured more than 50th percentile marks in the entrance examination but not called for 1st ROUND counselling will not be eligible for the 2nd and 3rdround of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling but will be eligible for Open Round of Seat Allocation /Counselling.

All candidates who were eligible for the Mock/1st Round of Counselling but did not register or fill choices (NR/NP in this notification) are not eligible for the 2nd and 3rd Rounds of Counselling.

PARTICIPATION IN THE 1 st ROUND IS MANDATORY TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE 2 nd ROUND OF ONLINE SEAT ALLOCATION/PG COUNSELLING FOR MD/MS/MCH(6YEARS)/DM(6 YEARS)/MDS, July 2019 SESSION.
