    AIIMS PG 2019: 191 seats up for grabs for MD, MS, MCh, DM, MDS courses July session

    AIIMS PG 2019: 191 seats up for grabs for MD, MS, MCh, DM, MDS courses July session
    New Delhi: PG students who have applied for medical and dental courses at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have a total of 191 vacant seats up for grabs for Round 3 Counselling session at the institute’s various branches across the country.

    The information to this effect recently came via a recent notice uploaded on the official website of AIIMS New Delhi clearly mentioning the number of PG medical and dental seats vacant category wise at the institute’s branches for MD/MS/MCh (6 years)/DM (6 years)/MDS Courses July 2019 Session.

    Below are the number of seats available for Round 3 AIIMS PG 2019 Counselling at various AIIMS branches:

    • AIIMS New Delhi=25

    • AIIMS Bhopal=36

    • AIIMS Bhubhaneshwar=28

    • AIIMS Jodhpur=22

    • AIIMS Patna=28

    • AIIMS Raipur=33

    • AIIMS Rishikesh=19


    For General category, a total of 102 seats are available, while for OBC, SC and ST; 46, 30 and 13 PG medical seats are vacant.

    POLICIES REGARDING ELIGIBILITY FOR 3 rd ROUND Counselling


    The candidates who are allocated seats in the 2nd round and have chosen the option 2 (mentioned above) and have fulfilled the requirements are eligible for the 3 rd Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling.

    All the candidates who had participated in the 2nd round and were not allocated any seat will automatically be eligible for the next round. Those who have secured more than 50th percentile marks in the entrance examination but not called for 2nd Round counselling will not be eligible for the 3rdround of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling but will be eligible for Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counselling.

    All candidates who were eligible for 2nd Round of Counselling but did not register or fill choices (NR/NP in this notification) are not eligible for the 3rd Rounds of Counselling.
