    AIIMS MBBS 2019 Results OUT; List of Eligible Candidates for Round 1 Counselling Released; Check out NOW

    New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS) has released the results for AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination 2019.



    The attached here is the list of qualified candidates who have appeared for the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination – 2019 and are eligible for the Mock Round/1st Round of Seat Allocation/ Online Counselling.


    AIIMS entrance examination for MBBS course was conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi via online mode in two shifts, 25th and 26th May at various examination centres.


    The total number of candidates eligible to participate in the first round of online seat allocation/counselling will be 4 times the number of seats available in each category. A total of 1,207 MBBS seats will be filled up through this entrance exam.


    The total numbers of candidates eligible for the Mock Round/1st Round of Seat Allocation/Online Counselling are four times the actual number of seats advertised in each category [except AIIMS, Mangalagiri (Guntur), wherein the seats are finalized to be 50: UR-27, OBC-13, SC-7, ST-3].


    This list does not include all candidates who have qualified based on the percentile cut-offs for each category as mentioned at the end of this notification.


    If the actual numbers of seats are not filled from this list of candidates eligible for the Mock Round/1stRound of Seat Allocation/Online Counselling, qualified candidates who are subsequent in the merit list for each category may be called for later rounds of Seat Allocation/ Online Counselling.


    Candidates will exercise and will be allocated their choice/s of the Institute through the seat allocation / Online counselling process as per their rank in their respective category. The choice thus made will be final & no further claim will be entertained in this regard thereafter.


    All candidates (including those not mentioned in this list) may view/download their results in the website www.aiimsexams.org.


    In addition, candidates are advised to visit the website regularly for further latest updates including details of the procedure of Seat Allocation/Online Counselling, Schedule and dates etc. The offer letter will be uploaded on the website in due course, and this can be downloaded from the website. No individual letter will be sent by post. Thus, the candidates are also recommended to carefully read the instructions as given in Procedure for Seat Allocation/Online Counselling.


    Duration of Course:


    The Course of studies leading to the award of MBBS degree of the AIIMS shall last for a minimum of five and a half academic years including one year's compulsory internship.



    ONLINE COUNSELLING


    MERIT LIST
    Based on the result of the Competitive Entrance Examination, merit lists will be prepared as below based on Percentile Scores:


    (a) Common Merit list: Subject to the Govt. of India, DOPT. O.M.No. 36011/1/98. Estt. (Res), Dated 1 st July 1998, it is clarified that only such SC/ST/OBC candidates who are selected on the same standard as applied to general candidates shall not be adjusted against reserved vacancies. In other words, when a relaxed standard is applied in selecting an SC/ST/OBC candidates, for example in the age-limit, experience, qualification, permitted number of chances in written examination, extended zone of
    consideration larger than what is provided for General category candidates etc. the SC/ST/OBC candidates are to be counted against reserved vacancies. Such candidates would be deemed as unavailable for consideration against the unreserved vacancies.
    Therefore a reserved candidate will be considered on General Seat only if no relaxation of the eligibility level (i.e. % of marks) and at a cut-off level in MBBS Entrance Examination is given.


    (b) Scheduled Caste candidates list


    (c) Scheduled Tribe candidates list


    (d) Other Backward Classes candidates list


    In each category i.e. UR, OBC, SC & ST, the total number of candidates eligible to participate in the First Round of Online Seat Allocation /Counseling will be 4 times the number of seats available in each category. The Online Seat Allocation / Counseling for
    admission to MBBS course in Nine AIIMS will be held through an automated process based on the choice exercised by qualified and eligible candidates. The details of the schedule guideline and procedure will be intimated in due course on website www.aiimsexams.org.


    Inter se merit of two or more candidates in the same category obtaining equal total Percentile Scores in the competitive Entrance Examination will be determined in order of:


    (a) Candidates obtaining higher in Biology in the Entrance Examination.


    (b) Candidates obtaining higher in Chemistry in the Entrance Examination.


    (c) Candidates obtaining higher in Physics in the Entrance Examination.


    (d) Candidates older in age.
