    AIIMS MBBS 2019: Result for 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation, Check out what to do Next
    New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS New Delhi) has announced the Result for 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling for AIIMS MBBS 2019.

    In continuation Online Seat Allocation/Counselling of Mock Round Notice No. 61/2019 dated 25.06.2019 as per the schedule for 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling for AIIMS MBBS July 2019 Session, the eligible candidates have exercised the choices (AIIMS) from 26.06.2019, 5.00 p.m. (Wednesday) to 27.06.2019, 5.00 p.m. (Thursday).

    Accordingly, the allocation of Seats (AIIMS) for Online Seat Allocation/Counselling of 1 st Round has been done.

    General Rules for MBBS Online Seat Allocation/Counselling are at the end of this document. The rank-wise list of allocated Seats (AIIMS) of the 1st Round is as follows:

    Important information

    1. This list includes all candidates who were eligible for the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling (Those
    who have either registered or not registered for the Seat Allocation/ Counselling process through the online portal).
    2. This list does not include Foreign Nationals candidates
    3. Candidates who did not participate in the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling are NOT ELIGIBLE
    for the 2ndand 3rd of Round of Counselling but can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling.
    4. For the 2nd round, the order of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling will be based on the merit order used for the 1st Round.
    5. For the open round, the order of counseling/ seat Allocation will be based on the original merit list.

    PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED BY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED SEAT IN THE 1ST ROUND OF ONLINE SEAT ALLOCATION/COUNSELLING

    All candidates who have been allotted a seat in the 1stRound of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling are required to visit the Online Seat Allocation/Counselling portal and mandatorily choose one of the following options from 01.07.2019, 5.00 p.m. (Monday) to 04.7.2019, 5.00 p.m. (Thursday). Failure to select any of the option as below will lead to forfeiture of the allocated seat and the candidate will become ineligible to participate in 2nd and 3rd Round.

    Option 1. ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation
    Option 2. ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2ndROUND of Seat Allocation
    Option 3. DECLINE / REFUSE allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd and 3 rd ROUND of
    Seat Allocation
    Option 4. DECLINE/ REFUSE allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2ndROUND of Seat Allocation
    If you choose option 1 or 2, then you are required to report to respective AIIMS by 5.00 pm on Thursday, 4 th July,
    2019 with a printed copy of the chosen option and complete the formalities as required. If you choose option 4, then you can submit the DD/certificates at any of the AIIMS by 5.00 pm on Thursday, 4 th July, 2019. All AIIMS have to
    complete the formalities and update it online by 5.00 pm on Thursday, 4 th July, 2019. Kindly make online choices and report to the official address of respective AIIMS (see details below) well in advance to avoid last minute rush. Failure to do so will lead to forfeiture of the allocated seat and the render you ineligible to participate in 2nd and 3rd Rounds.

    Instruction for each option is as follows:

    Option 1: If the Option of ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation is selected then,
     The candidate will have to go to the official reporting address of allotted AIIMS (see details below) by 5.00 PM on 4 th July 2019 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at
    www.aiimsexams.org) and report to the allotted Institute for depositing original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakh only (Rupees One Lakh only) in the name of the allotted AIIMS (see details below) along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded when original certificates are deposited.
     It must be noted that by exercising this choice the candidate is OPTING NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN
    FURTHER ROUNDS OF SEAT ALLOCATION.
     If original certificates are not deposited at the time of reporting, these will have to be submitted within 5 days of taking admission, otherwise admission will be cancelled, the deposited money will be forfeited, and candidate will not be eligible for any further participation in counselling.
     In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report by 5.00 PM on 4 th July 2019, the offer of admission will be cancelled and he / she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling. However these candidates can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counselling.

    Option 2: If the option of ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2 nd ROUND of Seat Allocation is
    selected
     The candidate will have to go to the allotted AIIMS by 5.00 PM on 4 th July 2019 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.org) and report to the allotted Institute for depositing original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakh only (Rupees One Lakh only) in the name of the allotted AIIMS (see details below) along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded when original certificates are deposited for joining a seat in any round of counselling but will be forfeited if no seat is taken at the end of all rounds.
     In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report to the allotted Institute by 5.00
    PM on 4 th July 2019, the admission will be cancelled and he / she shall become ineligible for participating in
    all further rounds of Online Seat Allocation/ Counselling except Open Round of Counselling.
     The candidate shall be eligible for the 2nd round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling. Option 3: If the option of DECLINE / REFUSE allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in 2 nd and 3rd ROUND of Seat Allocation is selected
     The allocated seat will be vacated and the candidate will not be eligible to participate in 2nd and 3rd Round
    of Seat Allocation. The Candidate will not be able to claim this seat if this option is selected.
     It must be noted that by exercising this choice the candidate is OPTING NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN 2nd and 3rd ROUNDS OF SEAT ALLOCATION.
    Option 4: If the offer of DECLINE/ REFUSE allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat
    Allocation is selected
     This allocated seat will be vacated and the candidate will not be able to claim this seat.
     The candidate is required to download the Offer Letter (from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.org) and report to official reporting address of any fifteen AIIMS (AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Mangalagiri (Guntur), Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, Bathinda, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Kalyani, Rae Bareli and Telangana) to deposit either the original certificates OR Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakh only (Rupees One Lakh only) in the name of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi with Photocopies of certificates
     The Certificates / DD along with photocopies of certificates can be deposited at official reporting address of
    any of the Fifteen AIIMS (AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Mangalagiri (Guntur), Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, Bathinda, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Kalyani, Rae Bareli and Telangana) by the candidate OR his/her authorized representative by 5.00 PM on 4 th July 2019.
     The candidate shall be eligible for 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling only after Original Certificates/DD with photocopies of certificates has been deposited at any AIIMS.
     The certificates will be verified for eligibility.
    Note: If any candidate who has been allocated a seat in the 1 st Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling does
    not respond in any of the above manner, his /her seat shall be vacated and he / she shall be ineligible for all further
    Rounds of counseling except the Open Round of Counselling.

    POLICY REGARDING THE DEPOSITING OF DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES/DD

    The claim to the allotted seat by candidates is subject to verification of the documents for eligibility as applicable as
    well as biometric verification of candidature. If a candidate fails to submit required certificates (original or photocopies with DD) his/her candidature will be cancelled, the seat will be vacated for next Round and he/she will not be allowed to participate in subsequent stages of selection/admission process. However the candidate will be eligible for the Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counselling.

    List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original OR photocopy along with Demand Draft as applicable.
    i) Offer Letter
    ii) Registration Slip
    iii) Admit Card issued by AIIMS.
    iv) Self attested copy of certificate in proof of passing the 12th class under 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

    v) Self attested copy of certificate from the Board showing his/her date of birth.
    vi) Self attested copy of mark-sheet of the qualifying examination i.e. 12th class under 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination in proof of having secured 60% or more marks (50% in case of SC/ST in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology).
    vii) The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable:
    a. SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority and should be in English or Hindi in language. Community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate.
    b. OBC Certificate issued by the competent authority for central Govt. jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the Prospectus.
    c. Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the Prospectus.
    d. Candidates must note that a certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible in the certificate.



    OFFICIAL REPORTING/ CONTACT DETAILS OF RESPECTIVE AIIMS FOR ADMISSION TO AIIMS
    MBBS COURSES- 2019 FOR 1ST ROUND OF ONLINE SEAT ALLOCATION/COUNSELLING.

    Candidates who have been allotted seat and have chosen option that requires them to deposit certificate / DD should approach Nodal officer/official at respective AIIMS as given below. Those who have chosen option 1 and 2 (see above) and wish to deposit DD then the DD should be in the favour of respective AIIMS as mentioned below. For the candidates who have chosen Option 4, i.e. DECLINE/ REFUSE allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd round of Seat Allocation, the Demand Draft (as applicable) shall be in the name of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi irrespective of the AIIMS where the DD is submitted.

    POLICIES REGARDING ELIGIBILITY FOR 2nd ROUND
    The candidates who are allocated seats in the 1st round and have chosen the option 2 and 4 (mentioned above) and have fulfilled the requirements are eligible for the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling.
    All the candidates who had participated in the 1 st round and were not allocated any seat will automatically be eligible for the next round. Those who have secured more than 50th percentile marks in the entrance examination but not called for 1 st ROUND counselling will not be eligible for the 2nd and 3rd round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling but will be eligible for Open Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling.

    All candidate who were eligible for the Mock/1st Round of Counselling but did not register or fill choices (NR/NP in this notification) are not eligible for the 2nd and 3rdRounds of Counselling GENERAL RULES ADOPTED FOR 1st ROUND OF ONLINE SEAT ALLOCATION/COUNSELLING
    1. Merit shall be the guiding and overruling principle for counselling.
    a. The merit list as published in the Result Notification No. 79/2019 dated 12/06/2019 shall be used to determine merit
    b. All candidates whether of the unreserved or appropriate reserved category shall be eligible for the unreserved category seats in order of merit
    c. Unreserved category candidates are not eligible for reserved category seats

    The Seats available for allocation are: Unreserved (UR), OBC (Other Backward Class), Scheduled Caste (SC),
    Scheduled Tribe (ST), PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability)
    Unreserved Seats: All candidates are eligible
    OBC Seats: Only OBC candidates are eligible
    SC Seats: Only SC candidates are eligible
    ST Seats: Only ST candidates are eligible
    PWBD Seats: Only PWBD candidates are eligible
    a. All reservations other than for PWBD are vertical reservations (reserved only in the respective categories)
    b. PWBD Reservations are horizontal reservations (across categories)according to a point-based roster as mentioned in the Prospectus and subsequent Notice/Corrigendum.
    c. PWBD seats that remain vacant DURING 1 st round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling will be released for counseling in the 1 st Round itself in their respective categories.
    3. Every candidate shall be allocated his/her best choice available at that rank for the 1stRound.
    4. If at a particular rank for a candidate, the best choice of the candidate is available in both the open merit (unreserved) as well as a reserved category (wherever applicable) then the seat shall be allocated under the unreserved category and not the reserved category.
    5. For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) reservation as applicable shall be followed and seats shall be
    allocated in their respective category according to merit.
    a. PWBD candidates are eligible only for the category to which he/she belongs i.e. If a candidate belongs to
    a reserved category, he /she is eligible for a seat only under that category and not in the unreserved category (horizontal reservation)
    i. Eligible PWBD candidate of UR category can avail a reserved seat only in the UR category
    ii. Eligible PWBD candidate of OBC category can avail a reserved seat only in the OBC category
    iii. Eligible PWBD candidate of SC category can avail a reserved seat only in the SC category
    iv. Eligible PWBD candidate of ST category can avail a reserved seat only in the ST category
    6. Vacant seats in earlier rounds of counselling can be allotted in subsequent rounds by following the above rules.
    7. All those candidates who filled choices in the Mock Round but did not edit (reorder/add/delete) their choices were
    considered for the 1st round of counselling.
    PARTICIPATION IN THE 1 st ROUND IS MANDATORY TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE 2 ndROUND OF ONLINE SEAT ALLOCATION/COUNSELLING FOR MBBS-2019.
