    AIIMS MBBS 2019 Counselling: 540 Vacant seats up for grabs

    New Delhi: There are a total of 540 seats vacant for Round 2 AIIMS MBBS 2019 Counselling at various branches of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).


    The information to this effect recently came via a notice uploaded on the official website of AIIMS New Delhi clearly mentioning the number of MBBS seats vacant category wise at the institute's branches across the country.


    Candidates who have applied for AIIMS MBBS 2019 are requested to view the vacant seat position. Below are the number of seats available for Round 2 AIIMS MBBS 2019 Counselling at various AIIMS branches:

    AIIMS MBBS 2019 Counselling Round 2


    ELIGIBILITY:


    The following candidates will be eligible to participate in 2 nd Round of online seat allocation /counselling:


    1. The candidates who have opted Option-2 (ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation) and want to participate in 2nd Round of seat allocation.


    2. All those candidates who have chosen Option-4 (DECLINE/Refuse allotted seat and want to participate in 2
    nd Round of seat allocation) and have deposited Original Documents/DD.


    3. All the candidates who were eligible to participate but were not allocated seat in 1st round of Seat Allocation/Counselling as per their filled choices.


    ELIGIBLE:The following candidates will be eligible to participate in 2nd Round of online seat allocation /counselling:


    1. The candidates who have opted Option-2 (ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation) and want to participate in 2nd Round of seat allocation.


    2. All those candidates who have chosen Option-4 (DECLINE/Refuse allotted seat and want to participate in 2
    nd Round of seat allocation) and have deposited Original Documents/DD.


    3. All the candidates who were eligible to participate but were not allocated seat in 1st round of Seat Allocation/Counselling as per their filled choices.


    PROCEDURE:


    1. The eligible candidates for the 2nd Round will have to login for MBBS-2018 Online Seat Allocation/Counselling portal. The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates in the MyPage accessible by logging in using
    the credential that they have used for filling application form and other processes related to AIIMS MBBS-2019 entrance examination.


    2. The MBBS-2018 online seat allocation/counselling portal will show the seat filled by the candidates in the 1st Round of counselling. The candidates can edit (add, delete, reorder) choices (AIIMS). Even if the candidate does not
    wish to change the choices or their order, the candidate must login at-least once to record their willingness to participate in 2nd Round by the dates specified in the Important Dates Link.


    3. For the candidates who had chosen Option 2 (ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation) in the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counseling, the already allotted choice (AIIMS) cannot be deleted from the choices. They can add, delete, reorder other choices. Any choice lower than the already allotted seat will NOT be considered for 2nd Round of Seat Allocation/Counselling.


    4. The Portal will be opened for dates specified in the Important Dates link in the Portal. The choices made by the candidate will be locked either by the candidate OR automatically on the last Date and Time specified in the
    Important Dates link in the Portal.


    5. All the candidates who are allocated seats in the 2nd Round are required to login to the MBBS-2019 Online Seat


    Allocation/Counselling portal and actively choose one of the following options within date and time specified in the Important Dates link:


    Option 1. ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation


    Option 2. ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 3rd ROUND of Seat Allocation [Candidates choosing Option-2 must join the seat allotted by upgradation in subsequent round. Such candidates cannot retain seat allotted earlier. Failure to join the seat shall lead to impositions of penalty of Rs. 1.00 Lakh.]


    Option 3. DECLINE/REFUSE allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in 3 rd ROUND of Seat Allocation
    Failure to login and selecting an option within date and time specified in the Important Dates link will lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat and render you ineligible for 3 rd round.


    6. All the candidates who are allocated seats and who choose to Accept as in Option 1 and 2 (as mentioned in point no. 5) are required to report to allocated AIIMS within the date and time specified in the Important Dates link and are required to deposit original certificates/Demand Draft of Rs. 1 Lakh and other documents that will be mentioned in result notification of the seat allocation of the 2 nd Round of Online Counselling.


    7. Candidates availing constitutional reservation in the 2nd Round must show valid proof of their claim for reserved seat at allocated AIIMS when they are depositing original certificates/Demand Draft of Rupees 1 Lakh. In case they
    do not possess a valid certificate then their claim for the reserved seat allocated in 2nd Round will be nullified and they will be eligible to appear in the 3rd Round as UR candidate provided they deposit the original certificates/Demand Draft at the allocated AIIMS.


    8. Candidates availing PWBD horizontal reservation in the 2nd Round must show valid proof of their claim for reserved seat at allocated AIIMS when they are depositing original certificates/Demand Draft of Rupees 1 Lakh. In
    case they do not possess a valid certificate then their claim for the reserved seat allocated in 2nd Round will be nullified and they will be eligible to appear in the 3rd Round as UR/OBC/SC/ST candidate in their respective
    category as applicable without PWBD reservation provided they deposit the original certificates/Demand Draft at the allocated AIIMS.


    9. If the candidate who had chosen Option 2 (ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation) gets a seat choice in the 2nd Round that is higher than the already allotted seat in the 1st Round, then the seat allotted in the 1st Round will be released for 2nd Round of Counselling.


    Therefore, the Candidates must keep in mind that seats other than those left vacant after 1st Round Counselling/seat allocation may become available during course of 2nd Round of Seat allocation and thus must exercise choices carefully.


    10.All disputes pertaining to the conduct of the examination by AIIMS and Online Counselling/Seat Allocation will be subject to the jurisdiction of High Court of Delhi.


    11.The 3rd round will be initiated after completion of 2nd round.


    12.Candidate depositing Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rs. One Lack) DD must submit original documents within 05 days failing which candidature may get cancelled.
