AIIMS MBBS 2019: 1205 MBBS Seats up for Grabs at various AIIMS; Final Seat Position Released
New Delhi: With the commencement of counselling for MBBS course, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the final seat position list as per which a total of 1,205 MBBS seats are available at various branches of the premier institute for this academic year of 2019-2020.
105 seats are available for admission to MBBS course in AIIMS New Delhi. Out of these, 16 seats are reserved for the Scheduled Castes (SC), 8 seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes (ST), 28 seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC) and 53 seats for General Category for Indian Nationals including candidates under Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) category.
The same seat position goes with the 4 other branches of AIIMS in Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur and Nagpur.
AIIMS Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh have 54 MBBS seats for General Category, 28 are reserved for OBC, 16 seats are reserved for the SC category including PWBD candidates. The institutes have 7 seats for ST candidates with no PWBD reservation.
AIIMS Manglagiri has a total of 50 MBBS seats with no PWBD reservation. 50 seats are divided into 26 for General, 14 OBC, 7 for SC and the rest 3 for ST.
Both AIIMS Bhatinda and Gorakhpur have 26 seats for General category and 15 seats for OBC including PWBD reservation. The institutes have 8 seats for SC and 4 for ST category with no reservation of PWBD candidates.
The seat position at AIIMS Kalyani is-- 25 for General; 15 for OBC (both with 1 seat each for PWBD candidates); 8 for SC and 4 for ST category.
AIIMS Deogarh seat position for 2019 is 28 for General; 14 for OBC (both with 1 seat each for PWBD candidates); 7 for SC and 4 for ST candidates.
There are 52 MBBS seats each at AIIMS Rai Bareli and Telangana with 27 seats for General category and 14 for OBC candidates including PWBD reservation; Both institutes have 7 and 4 seats for SC and ST candidates with no reservation for PWBD students.
