AIIMS MBBS 2017: Check the Counselling Schedule

NEW DELHI: All India Insititute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS counselling for academic year 2017-18 will start from July 3. The result of the entrance examination for selection of MBBS seats in seven (07) AIIMS held on May 28 was declared on June 14, 2017.

The counseling for allotment of seats to seven AIIMS (New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh) will be held at AIIMS, New Delhi at J.L. Auditorium 8.30 AM onwards from July 3.

*OPH Candidates should report on respective day of counseling for the category they belong to.

TIME & DATE OF REPORTING FOR 1ST ROUND OF COUNSELING

*In case all UR seats are filled/allotted on 03/07/2017, No counseling shall be held on 4th July, 2017.

Reporting schedule for OPH Candidate in 1st round of counseling

• All OPH candidate belonging to UR category will report at 8.30 AM on 03.07.2017


• All OPH candidate belonging to OBC category will report at 8.30 AM on 05.07.2017


• All OPH candidate belonging to SC/ST category will report at 8.30 AM on 06.07.2016

I) All candidates may note that they should report strictly as per scheduled time to avoid crowding &
inconvenience.
II) Those candidates from reserved category, who qualify & are allotted seats in open merit on 3rd& 4th
July and wish to change his/her choice of Institute under respective reserved category, should report
on 5th& 6thJuly, 2017 to participate in counseling for reserved category as scheduled.

2. Date of 3rd ROUND OF COUNSELING - 4thSeptember, 2017&


3. Date of Open round of Counseling - 27th September, 2017

The list of Selected /Shortlisted candidates will be made available on the Website. The E-mail /SMS Alert will be sent to the candidates on their registered E-mail /Mobile Numbers. NO SEPARATE COUNSELLING CALL LETTER will be issued by post. The candidates are advised to regularly visit the official Website of AIIMS for any update with regard to counseling if any. However, the Counseling Call letter has been uploaded on the AIIMS website: www.aiimsexams.org. which can be downloaded.

However, in case the counseling letter is not upload /download of the candidate who is eligible for counseling as displayed on the AIIMS website, the Candidate can proceed for counseling and collect the same from Academic Section, AIIMS, New Delhi.

I)Call for counseling does not guarantee admission.
II) Attendance will be counted only when candidate appears before counseling committee.
III) Verification of documents shall not be considered as attendance.
IV) Verification of documents will be stopped when all seats are filled.
V) Counselling will be over as soon as all the seats are filled.
VI) All the candidates after last rank on which seat was allotted will be deemed present and will be eligible
for open round of counseling if any.

For the allocation of seats, candidates are required to be present in person. Candidates will exercise their
choice of the Institute when called during the counseling as per their rank in respective category. Choice thus
made will be final.
