    AIIMS issues corrigendum on last date of eligibility for SR, SD January 2020

    AIIMS issues corrigendum on last date of eligibility for SR, SD January 2020
    New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has issued a corrigendum on the last date of eligibility for Senior Residents (SR) and Senior Demonstrators (SD) January 2020.

    The concerned candidates are requested to view the details of the notice as uploaded on the official website of AIIMS mentioned below:

    The notice issued to this effect clearly mentions, "With reference to the letter dated 05.10.2019 from Academic Section received in the Examination Section on 11.10.2019, the competent authority has approved that the last date of eligibility for the SR/SD January 2020 sessions with regard to completion of postgraduate tenure is as follows:

    Consequently, in continuation to our Admission Notice No. 35/2019 dated 20.09.2019 the last date of eligibility of SR/SD January 2020 session has been revised from 31.01.2020 to 28.02.2020.


    All other contents of the Prospectus will remain unchanged.

    All applicants are required to visit the website regularly since all subsequent Corrigendum/Addendum/Updates will only be uploaded on the website.

    In an earlier notice, the AIIMS authorities have clearly stated that it is to be informed that the document verification of candidates provisionally selected for the post of Nursing Officer at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi will be held on 21.10.2019. The candidates are required to report for document verification in the Examination Section Ist Floor, Convergence Block, Near Gate No. 02, AIIMS, New Delhi as per schedule.

    Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that this academic year, 9 MBBS seats have remained vacant at AIIMS which has come as a shocker to many. AIIMS authorities cited an order of the Supreme Court stating that as per a Supreme Court rule, the last date of admission is 31 August 2019, hence these seats are still vacant
