    AIIMS PG 2019: Important instructions released for Open round of counselling for MD,MS,DM,Mch seats

    New Delhi: Through a recent notification All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS New Delhi) informed about the Important Instructions for Registration of Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counselling for AIIMS PG Jan 2019 session.


    Medical Dialogues team had earlier repoted that through an notice, All India Institute of Medical Sciences announced about the open round of counselling for MD/MS/Mch/DM/MDS courses. As per the notice, a total of 194 seats are available ac ross various PG/SS courses in the 7 AIIMS across the country

    AIIMS PG [MD/MS/(M.Ch.(6yrs.)/DM(6yrs.)/MDS] for January 2019 session to be held on 22.02.2019.

    Following are the important registrations released by AIIMS for the purpose of counselling

    a) The tentative number of seats as of now are available on AIIMS website i.e. www.aiimsexams.org


    b) The revised and final updated list of the all vacant seats available for Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling will be uploaded on the AIIMS website by 5:00 PM on 21.02.2019.


    c) The online registration will open from 15th February 2019 at 11:00 AM and close on 18th February 2019 at 5:00 PM.


    d) Minimum cut-off marks: Candidates having Percentile 50 or above in the PG Entrance Examination of the Institute held on Sunday, the 18th November 2019 will be eligible to participate in this session irrespective of their rank in the entrance examination and may register for Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling.


    e) To Register go to www.aiimsexams.org


    f) Select your desired course "[MD/MS.(M.Ch.(6yrs.)/DM(6yrs.)]" / "MDS" under "Academic Courses" tab and then click on the "Registration/Login" under General Links to proceed further to register.


    g) Enter your Registration ID and Password to login


    h) On "My Page" click on "Register for Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling" link.


    i) Opt for choice to register for Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling.


    j) Take the printout of Registration Slip.


    k) Produce printout of the Registration slip to attend Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling along with all original certificates and one set of Photocopy of certificates.


    l) Candidates will not be allowed to attend Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling without production of registration slip generated at the time of online registration for Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling.


    m) Those candidates who have joined any AIIMS in the earlier round of Seat Allocation / Counselling and have register themselves for this Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling from 15th February, 2019 at 11:00 AM and close on 18th February 2019 at 5:00 PM but do not surrender/resign by 21.02.2019 (1:00 PM) in the respective AIIMS are also eligible for this Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling. However, such candidates are required to attend the Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling with DD amounting to Rs. 3 Lakh only in favour of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi.


    During the Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling, if he/she wishes to accept any other seat available at that
    time, he/she will be required to deposit the DD immediately and vacant the allotted seat (DD in lieu of Documents). This will be treated as his/her resignation and the vacate released seat will be available to registered candidates subsequently in the merit list. The original documents will be transferred internally.


    n) Please note that the candidates who have not joined any AIIMS but come without original certificate / Demand Draft of Rs. 3 Lakh only will not be allowed to attend the Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counseling. Such candidates who bring a DD of Rs. 3 Lakh only in favour of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi in lieu of certificate will have to submit their original certificate within 5 days of the Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counselling or the date of Spot Counselling in the respective AIIMS, whichever earlier.


    o) No Authorized representative will be allowed to attend the open counselling.
