AIIMS 2017 PG admissions, counselling schedule
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released an important notification regarding open a counselling of Chirurgical (MCh), Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes.
counselling schedule:
Date: February 16 to February 19
Timings: 10 am till 5 pm
Note: Aspirants are required to note that minimum cut-off marks for open counseling, candidates need to have percentile of 50 or above will be eligible to register for open counselling.
Registration process
Log on to the official website, aiimsexams.org .
Select the desired course [MD/MS.(M.Ch.(6yrs.)/DM(6yrs.)] MDS" under Academic Courses tab
Click on the Registration/Login"
Enter your ID Number and Password to login
Click on "Register for Open Counselling" link
Take printout of the registration slip.
Important notes:
- Aspirants will need to get all original certificates and one set of photocopy of certificates.
- Candidates will not be allowed to attend Open Counselling without production of registration slip generated at the time of online registration
- The degrees will be awarded by the Institute under the AIIMS Act. These are recognised medical qualifications for the purpose of the Indian Medical Council Act and notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognised universities of India
- The total duration of the course will be three-years.
