AHPI, PHFI, IISc, IIST sign MoU for new Certificate Course in Healthcare Technology
The Course will be specially tailored for both clinical and managerial healthcare professionals, with the primary objective to enhance their knowledge, skill and core competencies in healthcare technology-- Dr Alexander Thomas, President, Association of Health care Providers of India (AHPI)
New Delhi: In a boon to those clinical and managerial healthcare professionals, who intend to enhance their knowledge in the health tech zone, a new Certificate Course in Healthcare Technology (CCHT) is going to be developed and implemented soon by well-known health care associations.
The agreement to this effect was recently seen at the MoU signing ceremony at IISc where the Association of Health Care Providers (India) (AHPI), Public health Foundation of India [PHFI], Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) and Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Trivandrum (IIST) joined hands together in commitment towards developing and implementing a Certificate Program in Healthcare Technology.
"Certificate Course in Healthcare Technology (CCHT) will be developed and implemented with a blended learning model. The Course will be specially tailored for both clinical and managerial healthcare professionals, with the primary objective to enhance their knowledge, skill and core competencies in healthcare technology. Module development by the technical and academic partners is the way ahead and to be taken up in subsequent months." Dr Alexander Thomas, President, Association of Health Care Providers (India) (AHPI) informed Medical Dialogues team.
The MOU was signed Between the 3 organisations on 30th May 2019.
