    After Much Wait, NTA Finally releases NEET 2019 Admit Card

    NEW DELHI: The wait is finally over. After keeping the students on their toes, the NTA has finally released the admit card for NEET 2019 candidates.

    National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) 2019 will be conducted on 5th May 2019 (Sunday) from 02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. The duration of the test will be three (03) hours.


    The largest entrance examination for Under-Graduate (UG) medical courses, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the gateway for admissions to medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH courses in the country. NEET 2019 will be conducted as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time.


    Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) used to conduct NEET, but this year the examination conducting body assigned by the government for NEET is National Testing Agency (NTA).



    Syllabus



    The Question Papers for the test shall be based on a Common Syllabus notified by the Medical Council of India and implemented in the year 2013 which is at Appendix-I of the Information Bulletin of NEET (UG) – 2019 available on the website www.ntaneet.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in. It is also available at www.mciindia.org.


    Pattern



    The NEET (UG) – 2019 shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with the single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). This will be a single exam in pen-and-paper mode. The duration of paper would be 03 hours
