Admissions to Master of Hospital Administration course: WBUHS issues notice
West Bengal: Through a recent notice, the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has informed about holding another admission test for Master of Hospital Administration course for the academic session 2018 -2019.
The notice states,
The University has decided to hold another admission test to this effect on 29th December 2018. The detailed information is available in the booklet developed for the purpose and accessible online since 11.08.2018 at www.wbuhs.ac.in and www.wbuhsexams .in. The last date of submission of the form at the University; either by hand or by post is 18th December 2018.
The notice adds that the information contained therein will hold for the forthcoming test as well; except the dates applicable for the different stages of the procedure of it. The excerpts of the salient points of the admission test and its schedule is elucidated hereunder:
1. The eligibility criteria for appearing in the admission test are: Graduate in Medicine (M.B.B.S/B.H.M.S/B.A.M.S/B.U.M.S)/ Graduate candidates from any stream or graduates from any recognized university / those appeared but result not yet published.
2. The admission test will be based on a written test through MCQs. There will be 100 single-best-response-type MCQs; to be completed within 80 minutes.
3. Allotment of seats to the different colleges will be done at a counselling session based on a merit list prepared out of the marks obtained in the written test.
The willing candidates will have to fill in the online form available through the link provided in the Information Booklet and submit the printout of it to the office of Controller of Examinations with the legible photocopies of all relevant testimonials. An examination fee of Rupees Three thousand only (Rs. 3000/-) will have to be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of “The West Bengal University of Health Sciences” payable at Kolkata at the time of submission of the application form.
The last date of submission of the form at the University; either by hand or by post is 18th December 2018. The results of the test will be available on the official website of the University www.wbuhs.ac.in and the candidates are to attend the subsequent counselling based on the notice published therein. No communication will be made to the candidates through any other mode.
4. The provisional schedule of the examination is:
