As informed by his batchmates, the MBBS student had allegedly engaged into a brawl at the medical college with other MBBS students. It is not sure as to why the MBBS student resorted to this drastic step of committing suicide, but the scuffle is reported to have been an angle to the case.
The unfortunate incident took place on May 5, 2019. According to a recent report by Amar Ujala, on that day, the MBBS student's mother called him several times but he didn't pick up. Then, the mother called the warden and requested to check upon the MBBS student.

It has been reported that when the police officials entered the room, they found all the stuff of the medical student scattered across the place.
During the preliminary investigations, no suicide note was found from his room. Soharamu Police officials said that other students have informed that the medical student was in depression for many days. The police did not find anything suspicious in CCTV cameras.
