15 Medical colleges get approval for 10 Super Specialty Courses this session
Amidst the list of various colleges that have been debarred or given a conditional approval, subject to inspections (and guarantees), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has given a green signal to the applications of 15 medical colleges in regards to starting/increase seats in post graduate (super specialty) courses without a threat of another inspections in relation to the current course and batch this academic year.
Having said that, the ministry of health has clarified that this permission for starting/increase of seats in the above courses and admission of students will be till such time the first batch of students admitted against the above course appears for the first final examination in the subject. The college authorities may take up the matter for recognition of the qualifications u/s 11(2) of IMC Act at the time of first batch admitted against the course appears for final year examinations.
