ONGOLE: Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), will soon be given recognition by the MCI, said State Health Minister, Kamineni Srinivas while allaying fears of medicos. A batch of students who completed their MBBS course have lost a year, due to non recognition of RIMS.
“All the deficiencies pointed out by an MCI team in the past have been fully addressed. Students need not have any fears over their career prospects,” he said after inspecting RIMS.
He assured the Institute that all doctor posts lying vacant would soon be filled. He also expressed satisfaction over hospital maintenance and services rendered by RIMS doctors reports, The Tribune.
